SKULLS

BRONZES
PORTRAITS
PRINTS
Many of my clay sculptures remain unfired. Their fragility embodies the transience of life and the mortality of humans, a primary reason for making portraits. I have from time to time cast small clay sculptures in bronze, paradoxically making these meditations on transience more permanent. In 2014, and again in 2016, I had the opportunity to upscale some of the small clay sculptures and to cast them in bronze for outdoor exhibition.
